wide range of design concepts, whether it's simple and
casual, elegant and formal,
dramatic and romantic, or garden and country. Clients
are treated with excellent
quality in the selection of flowers, and the client's
style and personality are
transcended into the flower designs.
What is the
design process?
When it comes to designs for bouquets or centerpieces,
Megan takes into consideration
of the event theme, the season, the surrounding architecture,
and the personality
of the bride. Megan gets her inspiration for the bouquet
from the bridal gown and
the bride to create something that her heart desires.
How many weddings
and events does Megan do per week?
Megan is committed to providing the highest quality
of floral design work; therefore
Megan is limiting her events to no more than 3 per week.
In taking such a small number
of events, her calendar fills up quickly and she recommends
clients to contact her at
least 6-12 months in advance. Dates are booked on a
first come, first served basis,
secured with a non-refundable 50% deposit and a signed
contract. The balance is
due 2 weeks prior to the day of the event.
How do you
determine pricing?
Each event for Megan is special and there are no two
weddings exactly alike. A formal
proposal is written after a complimentary consultation.
During the complimentary
meeting, Megan listens and exchange ideas with her clients,
present different floral
styles, colors, and themes. It is important to remember
that there are several
variables which determines pricing - including seasonality,
quantity, size of an event,
design time, type of flowers, containers, etc…
What's the
best way to budget for flowers?
Megan recommends that flowers and decorations make up
10-20% of your total budget.
When to schedule
a complimentary consultation?
Once you have decided on the ceremony and reception
locations, your theme color(s),
and a list of wedding party, family, and special guests,
you are ready to schedule for the complimentary consultation.
Please bring pictures of your bridal dress and attendants
dress to the consultation if possible.
Does Megan's
Flowers have a minimum?
No, Megan doesn't have a minimum. She believes every
bride deserves to have the
best of her designs no matter what the bride's budget
is because of her passion for
designing flowers.
